CyberSeek reported over 300,000 jobs available in this field and over 7,000 of them are in Ohio. The huge cost is one of the reasons as to why there is such a high demand for professionals trained in cybersecurity and safeguarding consumer data. A study by IBM reported that a data breach costs an average of almost $8 million in the U.S. Organizations know this, as these events tend to hit them right where it hurts - their reputation and revenue stream.
